The average
catfish in Oregon is about a pound, but in very rare occasions, they can be
gigantic. I haven’t caught any giant cats yet, but I know how to catch these
pretty well:
Not on rare occasions. All occasions. That's just a bullhead. If you go farther in eastern oregon, you can get big channels in the John day and dalles area. But more of them will live in the snake rivers being 10lbs on average.
